      1. I finished your sign off! I made two, you can use one of them or both. 🙂 They are on the Graphic Design Request page. 😀
I hope you like them! 😉

  1. I already have a button, but I don’t think it’s too nice. Can you make me a button?. My blog name is ‘My Booky Life’ and the colours I’d like are a teal-ish colour (the background colour of my blog) and maybe a bit of white/pink! Thanks, if you can’t do it, that’s fine! It’s a book blog, so I wouldn’t mind anything booky-ish!

      1. I adore this! Thank you SO much, it’s gorgeous!!!!!!! I love the colours, fonts and images, woohoo. My rating: Infinity out of Infinity ❤

Now, when I first saw it I was a bit like 'OH NO, wrong name, it's my BOOKY life, not BOOKISH life and then I was freaking out.

Once I got back to it I thought well, actually, NEW BLOG NAME: MY BOOKISH LIFE.
I hope you don't mind stealing your genius and using it as my new blog name. It sounds so much better! (You're such a genius)
Accident or not, I love my new button and name, aha ha!

Though I may use this graphic for not a blog button, but something else entirely. You know you really have got a knack for this designing thing.

You know what I wasn't expecting something THIS GOOD. Now my after seeing the real thing, you wouldn't mind. Could you make me a header image to complementing the button you made me.

Same kinda requirements as last time except REALLY simple. So no extra flowers or too many objects. Just really simple. But still colorful and elegant. My recommended 'Header Image' size is 1200 x 280 px.

P.s I REALLY like the image you used in my button graphic!!

      2. Thank you SO MUCH for your comment! It really made my day!
I’m really glad that you liked the button, and I’m so sorry for writing the wrong blog name. And I don’t mind at all that you’re using it! 😀
For your header, do you want the same book graphic?

      3. Just telling the truth, but, your’re welcome 🙂
Don’t be sorry, it was genius!
As i said, I want the header image to be kinda plain, just really nice fonts, pretty colors and MAYBE a few TINY little graphics here and there. So, no, it’s not necessary, thanks for asking though! ❤

      4. I use Canva for some of my own images, but you’re a LOT better at using than me. 😀 I’m having trouble saving my button to my computer. Is there any way you could share it with me on Canva?I know Canva offers a sharing feat, so I can give you my email address? Otherwise, I’ll just have to find my way round saving this image! 🙂

      5. I know i’m being really picky, but can you remove the flowers? They’re really pretty but I just feel that they don’t work????? 😀 If you can’t, that is so totally fine. I LOVE it the way it is, bit it’d be super awesome if you did? If you can’t or i’m just too picky and annoying, I’m fine with that 🙂

  2. Hello Janie! Don’t worry, I’m not here with another design request, haha! 😉 😛

Anyhow, I’m designing a header image for Bella from Book Sweet, and she has the Sela theme too. The dimensions of the header image that WordPress lists (1180 x 160, I believe) are really skinny. I noticed that you and Loren both use the Sela theme and that your header images are bigger than the regular dimensions.

How did you get your header image to be bigger than the dimensions?

    Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Allie! So instead of me going into your blog, I’m just going to put up the button and header up on this page, and send you in comments the theme and the link to the background. I hope that this is OK, and I’ll start working on it right away. Thanks! 😀
      P.S. Do you want a sign-off? 🙂

      1. Any requests about the sign-off, or any requests about the full design? If it’s about the sign-off, then nope. Surprise me! About the design, kind of along the lines of the image header I have right now. Happy, and organized.

  3. Hi Janie! It’s me YET AGAIN. You must be getting tired of me, huh? ;P xD
Anyhow, you use Canva for your images, right? I love Canva, but when I try to download things it puts them in a .zip file. I don’t have WinZip so I can’t access my images! Do you use WinZip for your files or is there a way to change the file?
    Thank so much! 😀

    1. Hi Grace! I never had that problem, but I do know a way that you can save it. Press command, shift, 4, and that will take a screenshot. Then, go to Picmonkey and crop it to where you want. Hope this helps!😀

    2. Hi,
I know you asked Jamie this and she replied with a genius screenshot method, but if you want the high quality image you have made on Canva, then it’s quite simple.

“When you download a design with multiple pages in PNG format, your design will initially be downloaded in a .ZIP file. Downloading as a compressed file can save your server’s bandwidth usage and helps you download the file to get a smaller size and a faster download.

There are several ways to unzip your file depending on which operating system you are using.

      Unzip files on Windows

To extract a single file or folder, double-click the zip folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location.
To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
      Unzip files on Mac

To unzip a file or folder on a Mac, double-click it. To open a zipped file on a PC, drag the .zip attachment to the desktop.
Once the file is on the desktop, you can double- or right-click to open it. Double-click the zipped file to see its contents.” Source :

If you are not using a Mac or Windows device, I may be ale to help!

  4. Hi Janie! Earlier, you made me a header, a blog button, and a sign off for my blog, the depth of my faith. I didn’t see it until note, when I realized that you spelled my name wrong… sorry to bother you with it… do you think you can fix it? I should love to use it!

  5. Hi Janie! 😀 I’m designing Bella’s blog ( and the last thing I need is to make a sign off. I was wondering…do you think you could make a sign-off for Bella? I might end up making one too but I thought I’d ask anyway since you’re amazing at graphic designs. 🙂
If so, I just want to add that this sign off will be a little more color-coded and a bit more specific than the one you made for me. The color code is: #c8b1dc . You can visit Bella’s blog above to see what everything looks like for an idea of how to make the sign off. The sign off itself is entirely up to you, I just ask that you use the color code for the color. 🙂
    Thanks SO much, Janie! 😀
